Sorry for the delay folks- April, May, June, July, August, and most of September has slid by without comment from me! I'm not sure exactly why I stopped blogging. We could psychoanalyze my actions and hypothesize that I made the final decision that I had seen what I wanted to see and it was time to stop traveling while driving the PCH. It'd be a good hypothesis. Why stop blogging though? What do you say when you've decided the adventure must end? Like a good little procrastinator, I hesitated to share "the rest of the story" prior to my own knowledge of how things would turn out. And so it ends, but not without finishing the story. So glad to come across your blog & read some of your older posts...I am in grad school for CSD and have been researching traveling companies...do you have any suggestions when it comes to questions to ask before signing on with a company? thanks!
Hi Nolacml- Basic questions need to focus on benefits and incentives- as well as a rough estimate/percentage of school jobs verses Skilled nursing facilities verses hospitals. I'm going to refer you to one of my old posts---July 12, 2009 (second post under that date)-- it was a FAQ I wrote up that covers a lot of info. Eventually I'll finish my story here! Things just became so busy... Good luck with Grad school- Study hard and learn lots.

I loved your blog! I came across it during search about travel contracts. I've been recently in schools & looking for change again, but I don't think I'm up for travel work- just enjoyed reading about it (& I'm single too so can def. relate to those comments!) Sincerely,
