Break
Wee, but it's been a fun break. Busy, but fun.
June 7 and 8th- moved out, drove to brother's house.
June 9th- went to Museum of Natural History with nephews and sister-in-law.
June 10th- drove home to the parents.
June 11th- visited the dentist who told me the previous dentist was probably trying to pay off his yacht. 3 cavities, not 9. One didn't even need numbing first to fill! Very nice dentist- used to go to school with me- so I've found who's going to be cleaning my teeth from now until I settle!
June 12th- drove to Atlanta and hung out with audiologist friend Adrienne. Ate excellent sushi and caught up on stories.
June 13th- visited with college friend Angela and lovely almost-2-year-old son who likes "bus and truck". Caught up on life and shared pictures. Met with college friend Ty, his sig. other Jennifer, and her friend Donna for dinner. Dragged them into Highlands to take Baltimore friend Rachel (now re-located to Atlanta) out to the bar scene. Sat in lovely Irish pub (darn if I can't remember the name) and listened to music while sampling multiple varieties of drinks. I still think the "mindbender" should be sipped. Slept on Rachel's couch.
June 14th- introduced Rachel to the wonderful world of the Dakalb International Farmer's Market and all of it's glory. Bought 3 varieties of honey for mom, 6 varieties of dried fruit for mom (including 2 varieties of dried blueberries), fresh corn (which was WONDERFUL!) and blue cheese potato crisps. Walked to Highland's main street with Rachel and ate lunch. Drove back to "home".
June 15th- Happy Father's Day. Cooked breakfast for dad. Spent day admiring my dad. Went to church.
June 16th- bummed around house with mom. Ate lunch with grandma.
June 17/18- Went to Charleston with parents. Dad spent day in meetings (poor dad), mom and I found bargains in Tanger outlet mall one day, and downtown Charleston the next day. 70% off all Sigrid Olsen clothes! Then 25% more off at the register!
June 19- bummed around house with mom. Worked with mom with computer- plan was to teach her how to download and edit movies from her movie camera. Was stymied by mom's question, "can you teach me how to do favorites first?" Umm, maybe I need to review her computer fundamentals. Meeting college friend John and his wife Susan tonight for dinner.
June 20th. Hasn't happened yet. I have a feeling it will involve bumming around house with mom, visiting grandma, and packing my car for the move to Roanoke, VA this weekend. Or it could involve driving to Roanoke if I can't get my keys on Saturday!

Limerick Junction is the pub. Wonder if they do a good corned beef. It is promising if they can make a tasty mind eraser.
Have to do that again soon.
Ooh, Roanoke! That's great. I think you'll have a good time there. Next time you're in the area, Smittywife and I will be, too! Yaay!
